TOOMEY CENSURED
Senator Pat Toomey has been censured by Republican leaders in various counties acrossPennsylvania. The two time Senatorial Conservative nominee ran into trouble following his vote to convict former President Trump during his second Senate impeachment trial.
Republican leaders in Clarion, Lawrence, Washington, York and Centre County have voted to censure the fellow Pennsylvania Republican as a result of Toomey’s vote.
People In Washington County said that “We didn't send him to DC to vote his conscience or to do the right thing".
Evidently that means to be ignorant and proud of it!
Just like the Trumpanzees in the backwoods of Pennsylvania.
DIAPER DON ATTACKS MCCONNELL
Baby Trump has thrown his latest tantrum. This one against Mitch McConnell the Senate Minority Leader. The former president, breaking an unusually long silence, called the Senate minority leader a “dour, sullen, and unsmiling political hack” and called on Republicans in the chamber to find a new leader.
Trump was used by McConnell to get right wing judges confirmed. Trump also used the Leader too. But Trump has a 34% approval rating and will be indicted on various charges through the nextv two years. McConnell will outlast him. But babies need to vent and scream.
NAACP SUES TRUMP
The NAACP and Rep. Bennie Thompson, the Democratic chairman of the House Homeland Security Committee, on Tuesday sued former President Donald Trump, his lawyer Rudy Giuliani and two right-wing extremist groups, alleging they conspired to incite the Capitol riot.
The lawsuit, which is expected to be joined by other Democratic lawmakers, cites the 1871 Ku Klux Klan Act in accusing the defendants of conspiring to prevent Congress from confirming the election of Joe Biden as president.
That law was passed 15 years after the end of the Civil War in response to violence by the racist KKK and its intimidation of members of Congress from the South.
In addition to Trump and Giuliani, the defendants include the Proud Boys and Oath Keepers groups, whose members are known to have been among the thousands of people who invaded the Capitol on Jan. 6.
